About Dylunio Design

Design rooted in West Wales

I’m Dylan Davies, the designer behind Dylunio Design. Dylunio means “design” in Welsh: a name that reflects both my Welsh roots and my lifelong interest in creating distinctive brands, products and visual communication.

Experience in design, branding and education

I studied Industrial Design at Loughborough University, beginning in 2003, with work spanning product and graphic design. While at university, I worked for a major packaging supplier, creating branding presentations for international businesses. I later worked as a brand and marketing manager, helping a friend develop businesses in South Wales.

I also teach Graphic Design, Product Design and Construction. Teaching lets me share the practical skills and creative thinking that inform my own design work.

Local knowledge, personal service

Having grown up in Carmarthenshire and Pembrokeshire, I know South West Wales well. I work directly with businesses and individuals to understand their identity and create design that reflects their aims.
